🌈  RIP ZILA🌈In December we took in a 14 yr old blind, partially deaf bully named Zila. She had been dumped at the pound just before Christmas... left alone and afraid because the people she loved failed her πŸ’” We decided then that no matter how long Zila had left, she wouldn't live her days out scared at the shelter. Let alone spend Christmas there! Thanks to One Last Chance Rescue  and Freedom Drivers, Zila spent Christmas in her palliative foster home surrounded by love ❀️Cal and Nik spent 2 months showing this girl all the love and affection and spoils they could.  Zila had a family and was living her best life. She was happy 😊 Last week we had discovered a large amount of blood in her urine.. far more then an infection would cause. Our vet team sprung into action .. Zila had a large tumor and her quality of life was quickly fading.Today, with her foster mom at her side, Zila crossed the bridge peacefully. We are so sorry for your loss Cal and Nik and we can't thank you enough for stepping up for Zila when she truly needed it the most.β€οΈπŸ’”β€οΈThank you to our wonderful vet team at Athens Veterinary Services  for always being there for our Critters in care ❀️Run free Zila

Sadly Cecile has passed peacefully

After a short month in care, her body gave away and her organs started shutting down. In the arms of her family, she was laid to rest.

Cecile was able to feel the compassion and love she deserved right to the end

Thank you to Blueberry Creek Veterinary Hospital for looking after her the last couple weeks and to the Burrows family for giving her the best 3 weeks she's ever had, with unconditional love and support

Run free girl

Today we welcomed 6 babies. Unfortunately at arrival one kitten was showing signs of distress and started seizing. Sadly she passed away on route to the vet

Rest Easy sweet baby we will take care of your litter mates, know that you were loved

Sweet Arthur came into care just a few months ago. It was soon discovered that he had a serious bone disorder and his growth plates never closed...leaving him painful most days. We started treatments and he was placed as a palliative pup. He lived the remainder of his days spoiled and loved beyond belief. He had an amazing family that adored him. His fur siblings made him feel safe and accepted. Arthur had found his home

We are so sorry, Joanne and Craig for the loss of this beautiful soul, he was lucky to have landed in your loving home thank you for all the care and compassion you showed Arthur in his final months.

Rest in Peace Arthur
